Nerdy Glasses?
by HelluvaGirl
Went to this student night market to check out dresses for Augustas’ sister-in-law. No dresses of particular interest found, yet I myself began considering nerdy glasses. They look on the edge of cute-nerdy and lame-nerdy on just about everyone, and I suspect in my case it’s more to the lame-nerdy side. Anyway, was making the face that my beloved friend Cy calls “my professor look”:
Those lettuce-green ones I tried on just for fun:
They would’ve gone well with this cantaloupe shake I had later with my supper. Frankly, I have no idea what’s a cantaloupe. It reminded of those candies with chemically-enhanced taste. Augustas says a cantaloupe might be a sort of melon. If you asked me, I think I had some syrup on ice.

You can “lift-up” those nerdy glasses by combining them together with silly shy laugh and dull hear. And cantaloupe is a kind of melon. Oh God, am I a nerd if know such things???
Dear Professor,
I think you’re right. Cantaloupe is orange when it’s edible not green. On the other hand it is very important to match accessories and food color when possible. But if you were carrying the drink, then couldn’t we argue that it’s really an accessory? Fashion is indeed complex.
Can’t stop admiring your ever deep insights, Cy.
